Brush Tees Review - A Golfer's Worst Gift

As experience with donor and recipient of gifts of golf, I thought I'd take this opportunity to discuss, to give a golf gift should never be - the brush tee.

The Brush Tee is a common element in and out of golf clubs, you know, it took longer to ensure just and if you use it. It can be seen on the golf store advertising, infomercials, in, in retailing and elsewhere to put money on unnecessary things. If you do not knowwhat I'm talking about, this how I'd describe it.

For starters, the bottom half of the brush tee looks like a traditional tee. It is narrow and pointy so it can be put in the ground. That is where the similarities to the normal golf tee and the brush tee begin and end. The top half of the tee morphs into a round flat area, like a table top, from which numerous bristles extend up around the outside of the "table".

Despite the brush tee's guarantees, brush tees do not make you a good golfer, and they are not a good golf gift! I have tried them numerous times after receiving them in my Christmas stocking, and each time I have the same outcome. I begin by feeling and looking like an imbecile for taking it out of my pocket and teeing my ball up with it, and then it looks so unlike a traditional tee and feels so different from a normal tee that I either hit my usual shot or something far worse. Do not purchase brush tees for your golfer! No matter what brush tee's maker's claim, they are not good products. Your golfer will not like them, and there are many other useful, inexpensive items that can be purchased that your golfer will enjoy.

  1. Buying a golf gift is amazingly hard even when you are a golfer. The non-golfer has virtually no chance of selecting a great gift. A great golf gift has to be unique and afforable. Photo ball markers made from uploaded photos is that unique gift you are looking for. It is a golf gift that will make any golfer say WOW.
