Berkshire Valley is truly an amazing course. This is a must for all golfers in NJ you will never play. When I pulled into the parking lot and went to the clubhouse, I knew I was a candidate for treatment. The emergence entire first part of the course, a smile on my face. The first five holes of the trail starts from the top of a mountain. The view is breathtaking from the first hole facing the rest of the course. The first five holes are difficult, because if youare not exactly the ball is your T-OB who said, if you can survive the first five holes, the rest of the course pretty open., tee, the landing on the fairway seem to be the closure, but are larger than they appear. I think other than the first five holes, which are currently carried out through every level of golfer. You do not have the tee of this course to score too long. There are a few holes that can containYour driver in the bag and with a fairway wood or long iron off the tee. Unlike the first five holes, if you have pain T, you still have a decent second shot into the green. Most greens are water or sand so that the center is protected by iron play important, perhaps more important than a good ride. In my opinion, it's fun for the average golfer like me. This course is a must play if you are looking for something new and fun.
Employees of BerkshireValley was great, could not quite friendly. We have lost our way, the course, called the pro shop and were very accommodating for us. Once there, we do not have to rush. We take our time and when we were finished, we sent our way at the first hole.
Berkshire Valley plants have been up to par as well. The putting green was more than enough, sits next to Hole 18 and more or less in view of the course. You get a real sense ofwhat the role and the speed of the greens, when you actually get on the track. The driving range on the other side was at best average, but most county courses that I have not even played a zone, so I can not hit too. The clubhouse was nice, but there is no bar to sit down after the game. They have a snack bar where you can order food and grab a cold beer. They also have indoor and outdoor use. The outdoor seating overlooking the 18th Hole, which is nicebecause you can stop people from watching your sip a cold drink. It should be noted that the front yard, while the Nice, only a few seats and the interior is nothing to write home about, but its purpose will be achieved.
Usually when you hear that they played a course in the county, it is expected that the conditions of the course to be reasonable, but not great. Well, the earth, of course, is the exception to this rule. I thought the course was kept and maintained inPerfection. The conditions at Berkshire Valley have been to me to be as good as any high-end, of course, that I played. Each T-box was spotless, all the fairways have been cut, the bunkers were filled with sand and green from hole to hole were more consistent in the course won. You could simply say that the director of course had a lot of pride in the courses look. Please note that the course is closed on Monday for you, of course repairs
Like most of the countyThe courses can be made to residents of the county reserve by phone or online. Non-residents, in part, on-line option to book only the start. Start times can be booked weeks in advance and are sent to the public 1:00 to 8:00 clock. full-time and sometimes rare IsNot to quickly get a busy signal when calling a week in advance at 8.00 clock on a Saturday tee, so be sure the course and keep your number saved. Try
Do not be fooled by the name of the course of the county. When playing a private course Berkshire Valley expect to pay. County residents have the weekend to pay $ 70 for a quick startup time and the golf course in the county are charged $ 95 for the privilege of playing this amazing. Prices are lower for non-prime hours and weekdays. In my opinion the course is really worth the ticket price.
